Bild it, code it, batle it

D.I.Y. Design, build, and battle your veary own!

This is a tutorial on how you can make your own 3d printable combat robot using the CAD (computer aided design) Onshape ,
just like I did... not.

  1. research ideas for combat robots. If you are competing in competition be sure to read the manual.

    Ideas:

    • Somthing with a sharp spinner, or the whole robot could be spinning.
    • A fliper.
    • A wedge. Surprisingly effective!

These are some ideas you could try or not. You're probably more creative than me.

  2. Next buy some electronics such as: motors, servos, remote controller Parts, lights, wires, and whatever else you think you would need. I used Cyberbrick electronics which are very heavy, but I recommend using lighter parts if you have a 150 G weight limit.
  3. Learn how to use Onshape, or become friends with someone else who is very good at it; Unless you are using a different CAD, in which case make sure you are very good at that.

  5. Now you may begin to designing it, have fun I guess. A few steps later...
  6. Optional: at this point you may give up on designing your own, and use a pre-made one found somewhere on the internet.

This concludes my tutorial. Congratulations if you made it this far you now have your very own combat robot
